I would like to share the good news from Sierra Leone with you. We’ve got the following endorsements: The mayor of Freetown (capital of Sierra Leone) Herbert A. George Williams, he is member of “Mayors for peace”, he fully supports and we made a video-endorsement with him. Tamba Pujeh Gbekie Asst. Inspector General of National Police made a video-endorsement and Ibrahim Samura of Media & Public Relations of SL Police explained us how proud they are that 2 years ago a completely democratically and transparent election took place and a change of power without anybody got killed or any other violent incidents. Nevertheless in the last weeks violence arose in the colleges and university motivated by political interests using youth gangs. They were very interested and he invited us for a press conference concerning violence in the colleagues and gave us time to present the World March. We could make contacts with different journalists and with Bernard Conteh President of Students Anti-Violence Movement SL. Finally we met the minister of Defense Major Alfred Palo Conteh explained him all the points that WM stands for. He made a strong testimony for peace and ensured us his full support and we agreed on a video-message too. We are a bit behind schedule in Freetown, after this positive experiences our people are very enthusiastic and excited. The videos should be available soon. Big hugReto

Me gustaría de compartir las buenas noticias de Sierra Leona, hemos conseguido los siguientes adhesiones: El alcalde de Freetown (la capital de Sierra Leona) Herbert A. George Williams, miembro de “Mayors for peace” (Alcaldes por la paz), dándonos su apoyo entero y hicimos un video-mensaje con el. Tamba Pujeh Gbekie Asst. Inspector General de la policía nacional, hicimos un video-mensaje y Ibrahim Samura de medias & relaciones publicas de la Policía Nacional nos ha explicado, que están muy orgulloso que tenían hace 2 años elecciones nacionales completamente transparente y democrático y un cambio de gobierno sin ningún víctima mortal o incidencia violenta. Sin embargo en los últimos semanas violencia apareció en los colegios y universidades motivado por intereses político instrumentalizando bandas de jóvenes. Ellos eran muy preocupados y mostrando mucho interés, nos han invitado a una conferencia de prensa sobre el tema de la violencia en las escuelas nos han dado la oportunidad de presentar la Marcha Mundial. Pudimos hacer varios contactos con periodistas y con Bernard Conteh, Presidente del movimiento anti-violento estudiantil de SL. Finalmente reunimos con el ministro de defensa Alfred Palo Conteh, explicando los puntos del MM. El hizo un testimonio fuerte por la paz y aseguro su apoyo completo y su adhesión.
